Hitting the gin early
Up in Wilmcote meeting up with marking friends. We used to see each other regularly, but the exam board makes us use Teams now. Definitely not as useful for plant and vegetable swaps. So we had an unofficial meetup of our own.
This jigsaw was our pre-lunch activity. It only had 120 pieces, but they were Wentworth jigsaw pieces, so no 2 the same shape and probably worth 2-5 pieces in a regular jigsaw. Jigsaws are so good for talking and did we talk!!
The extra is part of my chicken hunt at Waitrose in the evening once I got home. The nurse banned husband from driving to Bristol when she redressed his toe on Thursday, so we needed food for 2 after all. Waitrose are having problems with their fridges and freezers in this heatwave. So we had to peep behind the blinds to find what was there - mostly not much!! A bit like a treasure hunt for grownups. I managed to find enough and we won't starve.
