Hot - 31 degrees!

Oh it has been hot today! We managed walk into town this morning,  but then spent most of the sitting in shade
We have a visitor with us this weekend.  Erika has come across from Sweden.  She was an au pair for us over twenty years ago! The plans to go out for some sightseeing seeing were not put into action,  it was just too hot. 
However,  we did go to Kirkcudbright for a wonderful meal at the Swally 'n Scran fish restaurant.  Stunning food!
