Painted Lady at Croft Castle

It was still too hot to do much but we were becoming stir crazy. As  Croft Castle was only a quarter of an hour away and free to us, being a National Trust property, we decided to go for coffee and a quick wander in the shade.

The coffee wasn't great and there was very little shade but the walled garden was heaven to me. It was so full of insects. I left Mr K and Jak on a bench in the shade and lost myself in nature.

We will return when the temperature drops. It is beautiful there.
