Sweetpea

Another hot sunny day with very little if any cloud.  A bit more bearable than yesterday as there was a little breeze.  I watered the allotment first thing and had a go at the oxalis weeds growing around the tomatoes.  After an hour it was time to go back home for a coffee and some shade.

After lunch I popped into Exmouth for some food shopping.  It was fairly busy along the sea front and town which isn't surprising but there is also a local festival on as well this weekend.

In the early evening we both went for a stroll along the beach.  It was a beautiful scene as the sea was very calm and blue.  It was high tide and a large number of people were in groups on the beach.  Many people were fishing and others relaxing and eating food.  Some were swimming or an paddle boards. It was surprisingly quiet with no music being played just the sounds of the gulls and the sea.  Lovely.
