Wound up in Wexford

Cromarty shop

We've had a lovely day out.

Arclight drove us to Nigg where we parked the car and crossed as foot passengers to Cromarty.  A hot day, sunshine, blue sky, almost no cloud.

We walked up to a hall, where there was a tabletop sale.  Some plants were purchased, along with a pair of earrings.

Then a wander through streets of this delightful little town, admiring the houses, and in this case this rather nice shop front.

We had coffee in a characterful little pub, where we left Mr A guarding our purchases and a pint of Black Isle cider, whilst the other three of us went to visit the birthplace of Hugh Miller - where there is a small museum of his life and work.

After that, a further wander through the streets, and along the waterfront.

We finished with a pizza at Sutor Creek, before catching the ferry back to Nigg.

We then went to Tesco, where we had a tussle with the Pod Point chargers.  We've resorted to leaving the car there, charging overnight, at a slow charger, as neither of the fast chargers in Tain are working!

Mr A prepared strawberry mojitos (with home grown strawberries and mint) and we sat out in the garden enjoying them.
