Damselfly

Was looking at the pond this morning and watching the blue damselfly when I caught this red variety on the yellow flower! Having only on.ne day of life they have to get on with finding a mate and producing the next generation! Charlotte got back about 11.30 and after disgorging stuff from her car she gave me a lift to Lucy’s home in Mount Wise! Hot again today but lovely and cool in the flat which is a blessing! There is a low growing jasmine on the terrace which smells divine when one sits in the swing seat and Lucy is utterly entranced by I think the smell but she is like an addict! She is very stiff legged when she goes to rest under the branches! Is it poisonous to dogs? I have just looked it up and apparently it is fine ! Night to all, I will take the time to read journals tomorrow!
