Knob Hill

Gavin is absolutely delighted. After months of driving his brand new Defender around Rathgar, he finally got an opportunity to go off road. Today, he is king of the hill.
Gavin is a knob. 

In other news, the thermometer hit some scary numbers today. Too scary to recall. It was hot. Even the wind was hot. Never thought I'd experience the scirocco in Donegal! 
Had three swims today. Murvagh in the morning, Rossnolagh in the afternoon (hundreds of Norn Iron cars on the beach, with their occupants sunbathing next to their beloved vehicle) and Rossnolagh in the evening, hoping to see a broken down BMW X5 stuck in the surf. 
A good, sunny, tiring day rounded off with a massive plate of tagliatelle alla puttanesca and flambéed bananas.
