Fire season

A much calmer day.  I went over to mom and dad's to check on them and see how mom was doing.  She is such a tough lady.  She was in the kitchen working on some dinner for them.  They eat their main meal at noon and the caregiver had made extra for the weekend that mom could use a spoon.  I told them I would bring them hamburgers and fries tomorrow and they are really looking forward to that.  I helped with a couple chores that mom was not able to do.

This afternoon I went to the pool for a little while on my way home I noticed this fire on Sauvie's Island.  By this time I had this posted the fire app said it was down to 5 acres from the 30 when I spotted it.
