LIGHT CUTS THE FOG

tonight
lights slice a thick roaming fog
through the mist a queue waits
below boats float
nets catching the heavy air
dripping to the decks
above the air is segmented 
as lights cut the night
and sound drifts
muted by the drape of this earthbound cloud.
