Cardboard cathedral

Fantastic day today - students were absolutely brilliant at the Un youth forum despite tremendous attack of nerves. Very proud of them all :-)

i snuck out early on for a trip into the CBD which has been opened up recently. I was stunned and distressed yet again by the devastation and desolation but also by the hope and the beauty around. We went to the old cathedral and then the new cardboard one.

The outside of the cardboard one is VERY VERY ugly but the inside is serene, light and really (for me at least) quite spiritual in feel.
