Early morning visit to Birkenhead this morning as it was so hot in the hotel. We didn’t really mean to cross the Mersey but got in the wrong lane! Pleased we did though as we had a nice walk along the waterfront then in a park and had great views of Liverpool across the Mersey.
Got back to the hospital at about 9.30 and stayed for the morning. Signs are good that he is starting to recover from a dreadful 2 weeks.
Went down to Albert dock this afternoon for a wander but to be honest it was too hot to really enjoy where we were.
Back to the hospital for the evening.
