Taking over her dad’s seat and getting ready for a blanket or two before bed. She certainly knows how to be comfy.

Another very busy Saturday. Soul worked his magic and has already created a lovely new bed as part of the cut back section of the garden, he is such a creative fellow.

I was out early to collect the ordered eats for Bookclub as it was my turn to host. John then came around to finish off a couple of jobs while I filled cocktail croissants with a variety of savoury fillings. I had already done three loads of laundry that were drying nicely.

An outing to the school to let the pooches run wild, they loved it. Then back home to set everything up in preparation for the ladies arrival.

Bookclub done, I tidied up and got ready to host this month’s online quiz.

That done, I had a quick light supper, poured myself a glass of pinot noir and settled down to watch a movie.

I am well and truly ready for bed.
