The Grommets

We had the most amazing sunset today.   I took myself off to Merewether beach as I had all sorts of focus issues on the big lens and wanted to try it out on some surfers.  It was lovely when I first arrived with the sun on the surfers but they were a long way out and then I lost the sun but at least I think I have sorted the focus issues.

The sky started to colour up so I went back to the car and put the small lens on.   These are grommets that were checking out the surf.  There was lots of other people out and about.  I have put some more of the sky to the East in the extras.  You should have seen it to the West but I wasn't at a point to get a decent shot.  I saw a whale and medium sized pod of dolphins doing their things.  It was glorious in that light.

Earlier today we had a rehearsal practice for another performance which as the date has been changed, I won't be able to do as I will be away.  Boo, it is going to be fabulous.

After that T and R were over for lunch.  Nothing flash, just Pumpkin soup with bread I made this morning (mixed it yesterday and proved it overnight)and lemon delicious for sweets.  Yum, there are leftovers.
