Sunflower

It's been quite overcast this morning which has made a pleasant change - blue skies are appearing now though!  We took advantage of the cooler temperatures to get the front garden tidied up, and while we were out there a lady pulled up in a car and said she'd walked past earlier and loved the yellow buddleia we have out there, and could she have a cutting of it lol!! Very happy to oblige her and hopefully it will grow successfully!

I failed miserably with sunflower growing this season as the earlier seeds I planted all got munched!!  BUT there must have been some seeds in the soil in a pot from last year, as this lovely one has grown extremely well, so maybe I should just always leave it to chance in future!! Even got one growing in a pot of bamboo next to a bird table so a stray sunflower seed must have fallen in there!
