Lesser double-eyed butterfly

Another scorching hot day. We are however blessed with good numbers of butterflies this July. Outside the kitchen door at least a dozen Gatekeepers (formerly known as the Lesser double-eyed butterfly) just on the rudbekia flowers and more elsewhere. 

The heat is forecast to dissipate tomorrow. I hope it does as we have another decent walk scheduled.
