The duckules are moulting, and pretty reluctant to venture out into the open... They're more vulnerable than usual when moulting as they shed their flight feathers (so lose their primary escape mechanism, or would have if they didn't already have clipped wings...). They didn't like it when I was between them and their run (oops), but did spend a little time in the pond.
