Long time coming

We have a photo of these kids on the wall at home . When I say these kids that photo was taken before the little one in this picture was born, she is now at school. The other three have changed a bit since the earlier picture too.
We had breakfast out with these guys and then a stroll in the local forest, far cooler under the trees.
Home tomorrow, picking up Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Manchester for Daughter 2. She is beside herself with excitement, she had a Bernese a few years ago but she died after eight years They are beautiful dogs, big, slobbery, hair shedding monsters but wonderful.
Transporting a 10 week old puppy in a car  for over four hours could make for a very interesting journey.
