Fife's got everything ...
We had a very easy journey to Fife yesterday. We are staying just outside Lower Largo on the road to Elie.
By about 5pm we were all here exploring the spacious house and the huge garden. There is a tree house, a swing, a trampoline and a lot of ground for children to run around in. Our younger son had made a veggie curry and two pasta dishes. We ate well but seemed to have room for birthday cake which the 10 year old helped me to assemble.
We are fortunate to have such a lovely house for us all to spread out in. It was hot last night but most people slept well.
Today has also been hot. We have been to the beach at Largo which was lovely. I have a lot of photos of the children and their parents on the paddle board but they're not for sharing. Flora has walked both ways to Largo, had a swim, raced around and is now exhausted. Actually we are all tired with the heat and exercise.
A BBQ is going to happen tonight once the garden is a bit cooler.
The blip is a beautiful yellowhammer on the Fife Coastal Path and the extra is a field which we walked through, full of wildflowers.
I just can't keep up with blip. I'm too busy enjoying the Kingdom of Fife!
