Low hanging fruit

Looks like our pear tree may be fruitful this year.  This is one that is too big for the twig it’s growing on, and I thought it could make a blip.
 
Last year it did not get the tlc it deserved, especially when it came to water.  This year it’s part of my after-dinner routine.  A can and a half for the pears, and half a can for the cherry which is coming on a treat since last year, see extra.
 
 
Roast beef and salad for tea tonight, and tomorrow etc.  It’s impossible to get a joint small enough for two and just one meal.
