More at Waddesdon.
The elephant sculptures are made from steel and Lantana. This is to highlight the effects of man on the environment. Lantana Camara was introduced to India by the British tea planters. It’s invasive and depletes native species causing biodiversity loss. The elephants are to highlight the CoExistence Campaign. The teapot is a wrought iron sculpture. There are aviaries and this is one of the birds therein. I don’t really like to see birds caged, even though they are large structures.
