Parasol

I rather like this parasol. It's made of wooden bars and paper and has some kind of a clear coat on the outside.
My daughter left it here when she moved out; I have no idea where she got it. She was learning Japanese just for fun for a few years, and by what I know, she may have bought an original from Japan.
However, I use it sometimes. Most times when I'm working from home and the low sun is blinding me behind the window - it's perfect to get attached between window and desk.
Today I used it on the balcony, just for fun. Spent all day reading.
