Help me I'm flaming I must be 109
Such a busy busy day
Up at seven. Honey and water in the garden. Wait for Si to wake up and head to the shops
Back from shops coffee
Pack a.lunch bag for si for he was going to the allotment to fill them water tanks. I. Yes I decided today. Hottest day of the year to get my roots done
The town was hell. Gridlocked coming in from a77. Cars parked on both sides of roads which they had no business doing.
Police sitting in their cars shrugging their shoulders
I made it to town, parked in Morrison (I think since I spend £110 in their earlier they could accept me parking for a while
Ran round to the hairdresser. It was actually pleasantly cool. The sun has not hit the front window. I took a seat and the foils commenced.
It took forty minutes for application for foil and then thirty minutes for colour to take. A further ten minutes for end of hair application another fifteen minutes and then rinsing.
Then cutting. By that time I had enough. Cut it all off
And so I sit here with short short hair
I left the hairdresser- Si had been at allotment three hours. I called him said. I'm on my way. 'ill be waiting outside' he said. And once I fought my way through gridlock again I found him
We got him home. Filled him with water and sent him to the shower
Then we all sat under the parasol which we couldn't open this morning. Tooli got screwdrivers and took it apart and then screwed it back together perfect. There's nothing she can't do
After letting him rest. We told him to get on with dinner
BBQ set. Meat drenched in marinades. Skewers produced. Potato salad and coleslaw hand made lettuce from the allotment
Heavens. It was glorious. beau cat joined in with a burger. Meow. She said
Then we drunk prosecco, because we can. Played Uno for the first time. Six rounds and Si gave up and Tooli and I played Scrabble.
We were due a good night's sleep
Hair is short but thick. Tooli said 'num that is really cute'. si said 'keep the curls'
