Sandy tongue

For the last few days, it's been absolutely scorchio, so I've been getting my morning walk between 7-9am and we've been incorporating a swim for Ann as well. Infact, it's been so hot that I've been swimming as well.

Today we set off for Porthgwidden Beach as usual, but when we got there the sea was a bit choppy. It was flat calm at Porthmeor Beach so all the 'Dippers & Swimmers' decided to decamp there instead. Ann was a bit worried because Porthmeor Beach is huge and she was a bit worried that I would go wandering off. …........As if?.................

I got extra ball playing time and then the five 'Dippers & Swimmers' left their stuff on the beach because there were no convenient rocks and I just lay and guarded it for half an hour until they'd had their swim. I really am the best!!!

Unfortunately when everyone was getting changed, two big dogs came along and tried to steal my ball so I had to snarl at them. I'm very possessive when I've got my ball but I think I've blotted my copybook a bit cos the 'dippers & swimmers' have only ever seen me in 'good dog mode'.

Oh well, ho hum................ I can't be good all the time can I? And a Collie's got to do what a Collie's got to do. And looking after my ball is definitely something that I need to do??!!!!

PS – This Blip has got the title, 'Sandy Tongue' because one of the 'Dippers & Swimmers' said that I must feel really uncomfortable with such a sandy tongue?! As if?!  As long as I have my ball to play with, I don't care how sandy my tongue gets. Lol!!!
