Victorian Letter Purse

My friend Jude has been in hospital and I haven’t been able to see her so I decided to make her a card. I say card….it isn’t actually a card but a Victorian letter purse. I recently made one for Anne Marie. I’d seen them on t’internet and decided to have a go. I followed all the folding instructions but it took me forever to actually pull it together. Now I can do it and it is different and fun to do. Jude is a big reader so I decided to fill it with book covers. As I wrote on it….whilst you recover you can do some reading. Here are some ones you will have read, want to re-read or maybe just reminisce about…because reading is good for the soul.

This pic shows it laid flat but it folds up in a beautiful way. If you google it you will see some beautiful ones. If you’re like me and you like doodling it is a change from a card.

Sue popped round after work for a chat which was lovely as I’ve not seen her for ages. She was melting in her uniform.
