Avebury

A sunny day at Avebury. It's probably over 30 years since we were last here, so it's nice to revisit! Despite the many people, it's still a magical place.

We walked from the stones to Silbury Hill and West Kennet long barrow. We had intended to do a longer circuit, but it was just too hot. We cut our walk short and returned via the Avenue of Stones to sit in the shade with an ice cream.
