Clinging On

………. We somehow managed to get almost everything out of the bedroom with 4 minutes to spare before the carpet fitters arrived.
It took them only 40 minutes to get the old carpet up and fit the new one - they did a really good job, so we’re pleased with it ;-)
Even though it was approaching 34 degrees ( and even higher in the bedroom) we had a quick lunch and started to put things back in the room.
By 5pm we had the basics back in place and we were both completely shattered so we stopped.

I’m glad the grotty old carpets have been replaced but I can say with some certainty that I’m never doing it again :-/
