When we moved in here just over 10 years ago, I dug up the hydrangea which was not as big then! I split it as a friend wanted one and was planning to plant the raspberry canes in this little bed. It needs to be there for drainage, and even with that it floods sometimes. The raspberries were not the success they had been at our other house and despite being mutilated, the hydrangea survived.
