Every Day

A trip into James Cook hospital for me today. Visiting our neighbour J.
He has a respiratory problem which is taking a long time to be resolved, so he’s been in and out over the last month, and specifically into his second full week now. An exploratory procedure on Wednesday will hopefully get him on track for a resolution.

He’s in good spirits though and is looking as well as can be expected. We stayed for about an hour and a half chatting about all sorts of things and hopefully cheered him up.

His bed is actually next to the window and during the week he saw the helicopter land three times in one day. I was hoping I might see and blip it today but didn’t. Which is a good thing right?

Usual Sunday type chores either side of the visit. The weather has been much cooler here today which is a relief.
