Early start

We were up before 4am and in the car heading to Gatwick at 5am for our flight to Maderia. 

We settled down in the lounge with coffee and it was soon time to board. 

A smooth flight, quick transfer and we were soon unpacked in our hotel room.

We had mentioned to the hotel that is our wedding anniversary and they delivered a bottle of bubbles and chocolate cake soon after we arrived.  We enjoyed it and the view.
