A new visitor ....

.... to Michael's garden, that I noticed this evening. It explains why the red squirrels have been noticeable by their recent absence, but the peanuts have disappeared from the squirrel feeder box. This was taken about 6 pm. I am disappeared that the red squirrels are unlikely to be around while the Pine Marten is present in the area. Especially as last week an adult male red squirrel was killed on the road.
I had an active day, an early morning walk around Sheskinmore to avoid the heat as best as possible. Bubbles swam in her favourite rock pool, see extra   An afternoon swim with 5 friends, Narin Beach to Portnoo pier, which was slightly under 1 kilometre. Watched some of the Wimbledon tennis final & an evening swim with a friend at Fintra beach under a threatening sky, see extra.
At one stage today the car temperature was 30 ⁰ C.
