Evening Light

An evening walk in the meadow after the tennis and in the relative cool. The meadow is so dry but incredibly beautiful especially as the low angled rays of sun bring a warming light and cast shadows across the ground.

We walked here this morning too but then the sun was high in the sky and the light piercingly bright. We did one loop of the field then sat in the shade of a tree and chatted. It was too warm for Merlin to be doing much walking but he enjoyed sitting with us watching, listening and smelling all the delights of the meadow.
