Path Pleasure/Pressure

In the Dales (and elsewhere) there are plenty of signs saying 'Please walk in single file across the meadow. In my Blip, it appears that walkers have obeyed the sign.

This field has been recently mown, and the path is much greener than the rest of the field. In fact I saw a sheep grazing the path rather than the dry remains from the haymaking.

The path may be composed of different grass species that can cope with the pressure of walkers. It might be that these low growing grasses were missed by the mower. It might be that the compressed soil keeps the moisture better than the rest of the field.

Whatever the reason(s), the path is very clear and easy to follow!
