Butterflies

I exercised and then my friend and I went to see a butterfly exhibit at gardens nearby. I have been a couple of times before and it is always lovely. There were some blue ones that were stunning. He knew a part of the park that I have never seen before because I always stopped at the gate so now I know some more trails to walk. Not today. Today was humid. Maybe September.

I spent some time on the proposal and some time on homework for the leadership class. I’m all prepped for the week!

Ukraine will produce significantly more drones than initially planned. This includes “interceptor drones” to shoot down Shaheds. Ghana (!) is going to finance drone production. Hundreds of Shaheds were shot down in one week. 

The partisan group Atesh destroyed a vehicle used by the Akhmat unit. Akhmat is an elite force in the Chechen Republic. This is Atesh showing that resistance is alive in occupied Mariupol. 

Germany is going to produce its own missiles for the Patriot systems, independent of the US. It will fund the purchase of long-range Patriot missiles for Ukraine. The first should arrive by the end of the month. 

Norway pledged to fund drones for Ukraine with 640 million euros.
