Gairloch

Back blip


I took this photo just as we passed the village of Gairloch, on our way home after a great week.

We stopped at Pitlochry for a break, it was very warm and sunny, and ice creams were called for.  It was very busy and touristy, and the prices in the shops were a rip off of the tourists.

We arrived in Glasgow at 5pm, after dropping off in Falkirk, Bathgate, and Edinburgh.  Our package was from door to door, so we came home by taxi right to the door.  Very convenient.

We had a really good break, were impressed by the company on a lot of things, a few problems but on these coach holidays you have to learn to compromise.  The hotel was an old building and could have done with some refurbishment in places, that said we had the best shower I have ever had, although our room was quite small.

Sat out on the deck with pizza after some unpacking.  Look forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.
