Sunset over Cable Beach ……

………………….. in Broome, Western Australia.

We visited a couple of Art Galleries today, one in particular was outstanding, the Black Stump Gallery. I bought 3 paintings to take home as gifts. They were painted by an Aboriginal woman painter.

We had lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean. What a view! Outstanding. And this evening we found our way to Cable Beach and many others enjoying the sunset. We also hoped to see camels being ridden along the beach but no, not on our patch. But that sunset was magnificent.

We four leave tomorrow for the Kimberley Walking Tour, heading for Windjana Gorge as our first stop. I doubt that there’ll be any phone or internet connection in the Outback, especially on the Gibb River Road.
