Tickled pink

I was tickled pink to see this holly blue butterfly on the green this morning, feeding on a bramble bush.  Obviously I've seen them on the Morn Hill reserve but never around here.  What's more their second flight period (says my Hampshire chart) doesn't begin until tomorrow, so even a day early!

Apart from a quick hop into town to buy yet more fruit, that's about it for my walking today.  The rest has been all the 'ing's: washing, watering, cleaning and reading.

And it's a bit cooler..
