Maize Days

On a recent blip I posted an image of the clover field where we often walk, after it had been ploughed and seeded. We didn't know what the crop would be but speculated about maize, grown for animal feed.

We were right.

I had an easy walk there today and the collage shows the scene now, from a similar position as the original shot, link posted below 

Also included is a shot of the lane where the old Methodist chapel is located. Blipped before.

I then went on to Dark Lane for some more nature and dappled light photos.

It has been warm today but noticeably cooler with a very pleasant breeze.

Hopeful of some rain tomorrow....can't wait.
