A rather young Starling I think

A very wet start to the morning and by mid afternoon the heavy rain clouds had disappeared and the sun returned ..... let's just hope that there's enough moisture left in the earth so that I can do a spot of weeding tomorrow.

Of course the bird feeders were empty when I came home yesterday so buying more seed was top of the shopping list for this morning. I expect the Goldfinches will return soon.
