The Watchtower

Another lovely day, far too nice to be stuck at work. One of my colleagues returned to work after her summer holidays today, and I was so glad to see her. I have been covering part of her job, as well as part of our bosses job for the couple of weeks, and it has felt like too much!

I had such a busy day, I only had about twenty spare minutes to escape the office to see the sun. I basically walked for ten minutes down the hill, then ten minutes back.

BB was working day, then had his first pre-season rugby training tonight. He came home buzzing after training. Needless to say, he wasn’t keen on joining me for a quick walk this evening.

I walked to the New Calton Graveyard at lunchtime. This is the watchtower. I’ve not been there for ages, but it felt quite overgrown. I’m assuming Council cutbacks.
