Raining today so a late start but eventually we got away and caught the bus to the gondola station for a walk up the valley to the bottom of the waterfall. Whilst the sun never came out it did finally stop raining .
However the wildflowers either side of the track were amazing. Greater spotted, fragrant and marsh orchids, Turks cap lily, Great Masterwort or astrantia, Devil’s bit scabious, Cabbage or Siberian thistle, Gipsy rose commonly known as field scabious, yellow aster, meadow clary and wolf’s bane.
