Misty and murky today. Heatwave over, almost as soon as it had begun...

Today, I got inspired to sort through my wardrobe. I seem to have collected jackets of all sorts, but I never wear them. So I was determined to sift them carefully and discard a few. But each one I tried on, I liked. They range from casual to fairly 'smart', but I have to think of semi-formal dinners on cruises, where a more 'dressy' item is de rigueur.

So, I put most of them back, and stuffed a few items (I seem to have quite a collection of gilets) in a big bag for the charity shop. But later, JR was poking in the big charity shop bag, taking things out, exclaiming that I needed this one. And that one. *sigh*

JR has been in the kitchen for most of the day, after the gym. She's been cooking and putting things in the freezer for when our house/dog sitting people come, and we're rushing between holidays.

Archie and I took two walks out - the one in the morning we got wet, but by the afternoon it was sunny and warm.

Yes! My early birthday present to myself arrived! And it's absolutely gorgeous.

I am missing Wimbledon!
