The Rose Lady

I went to have my hospital bi-annual blood test this morning together with a VitB12 jab, then helped a young lady who I've known since she was a baby and who sadly has suffered many health issues throughout her young life. Only just released from hospital after suffering double pneumonia and sepsis, she still looked in a very sad state, always on crutches she struggled into the medical centre reception and I sat with her until she saw a doctor who immediately got her re-admitted to hospital. Once I knew she was being looked after I left her in the Nurses' capable hands.

Then off for a short food shop, but which didn't turn out to be that short as I seemed to meet friends and people I knew round every aisle, consequently home much later than I should have been. We had a late lunch.

After my VitB jab I should be full of beans, and trilling like a Budgie, but not so, I spent the rest of the afternoon on the sofa and even had more that 40 winks.

Windy and quite a bit cooler today and with a few raindrops. Just got the washing in in time.
