Horse market in Beerfelden

We went this morning to the yearly horse market in Beerfelden. Although more regional, people from many other parts of Hesse and adjacent states come to this event. For Caspar it was the first time with so many people, so many dogs, and so many of those big animals. Although, he showed most respect for cattle.

There were many different horses, often with (very young) foals. Of my favourite type, the big "cold bloods", we saw only a few. Well, next time more luck :)

The fjord horses, see the extra, had their own space, so many. The competitive assessment of all of them took the whole morning.

Two hours before the official end we heard thunder. I had a look at the weather app and off we went. We were just driving when a heave rain came down, slowing tracking to half the regular speed. Lucky us.
