Spice of life...

D got a call from the wheelchair place first thing this morning responding to his email from yesterday.  Asked him to take the chair to them this morning and they would try and fix it there and then, if not they could lend me a chair till it was fixed. Thankfully they were able to fix it and D returned with it before my GP appointment.  Phew!

As a result of these shennanigans we had a late lunch then I crocheted for a while.  I'm working away at this love heart blanket but it's taking forever to get bigger!  Still it wiled away a couple of hours while the rain fell.  Such a contrast to yesterday's hot sunshine.  It was needed though.  Just hoping the sun returns when our Skye friends are here next week.

Dinner was lemony lamb kebabs (yes we are still working our way through all the lamb I ordered by mistake!  :-)) and my blip is the cumin, coriander and fennel seeds that form part of the marinade. The kebabs were delicious.

Looking forward to my physio appointment tomorrow for my shoulder.  My pain levels are much reduced but not sure if that means it's getting better or the strong painkiller is doing its job.  Maybe the physio will advise :-))
