Great Day!

It wasn’t nearly as hot today, in fact it was cool enough to get a game of golf in this afternoon. There was a gorgeous, cool breeze and we took a cart which made the game all that much easier. I played quite well, which was pleasing!

I spent some time this morning on the campus of the college that I teach at in the summers. To my utter delight, all of the full-time faculty were there working in a project. So I got to talk with them all at length, including my favorite teacher. I took all of his classes and he hired me later to teach the class that I’m doing now - Plant ID:Summer Annuals and Perennials. It’s my 9th year teaching it!

I ordered a new table top and shelves for my office from IKEA. They’ll be here later this week, and the person coming to build them (yeah I considered doing it myself for all of about 5 minutes) will be here next Tuesday. Then I can start pulling together my new office/studio!

This gorgeous dahlia in my courtyard caught my eye as the setting sun hit it. A spray of water completes tonight’s drippy blip!
