Or Hedge sparrow. Not sure if this is a youngster, or a hen as the colouring similar. But has been making its self at home in the courtyard flowerbed. Then popping out onto paving hunting for food. Seed etc gets blown off the bird table. There have been two or three around there today. Image taken through the window glass.

And what a day! Deep joy it has rained, and quite a bit this morning too. It is also very windy, so the showers have passed through quite quickly, but one could almost hearing the garden breathing a sigh of relief with the rain's arrival. I know I am happy as it hopefully help the lawn grass to grow, and I will be able to cut it to tidy it up a bit.
