St Monans
The 18th century windmill is the last remaining one in Fife. It is on the Fife Coast Path near St Monans. It pumped sea water into the nearby salt pans, which were then heated by coal.
Unfortunately the weather has been a bit disappointing again. Rather chilly and damp. However we had a decent walk from Anstruther to Cellardyke and sat outside by the tidal pool for coffee.
My sister's pal who lives in Perth is here, with her dog, for the day. They've taken both dogs for a walk as the rain has stopped. I'm on cooking duty tonight so I will be in the kitchen soon.
The house is marvellous for a big group.
