Didn’t manage to Blip last night - a bad headache all day led to other unpleasant symptoms about 10pm and I ended up in A&E being given heavy duty pain relief and the usual remarkably kind treatment I’ve come to rely on at our local hospital. The nurse was in #2 son’s class at school and knew us both …

The night ended with a dose of liquid morphine , which I carried home like the Holy Grail so that I could have a shower before I passed out. No blipping possible!

The photo is the only one I took today / a photo of a photo of a lovely memory. It’s our #1 son’s Silver Wedding Anniversary and I wanted it to send greetings as they’re currently in Spain on holiday . The wedding itself was presided over by the priest who became Bishop of Argyll - Blipper Sally will know who +K is! I loved every minute of the day - and our quartet sang a piece specially composed by Himself. Well, you don’t expect me to be a conventional mother of the groom, do you?
