Vane change

The winds have been strong and blustery today, bringing a complete change in the weather and most welcome freshness. It has rained on and off too but so lightly it won't really make much difference to the water table.

Joni does not like strong wind and the noise of branches swaying and leaves rustling. She was quite spooked out on our walk this afternoon. Maybe the wind hurts her ears but I think it's mainly she doesn't like her hair getting messed up!
