Joseph Backdrop

"Joseph and the Amazing  Technicolour Dreamcoat " is being performed at Lincoln cathedral 17th to 23rd July. I popped in to get my steps in out of the rain so it was nice to hear some of their rehearsal.
Our Steampunk choir SCONE , had one of our best audiences last night at a local WI meeting. 
We thought we might be in trouble as in a lot of WIs Jerusalem is still sung at the beginning of their meetings which gave the impression they might be very traditional. Well we got off to a good start by joining in Jerusalem which was appreciated.
They got all the jokes in the songs :-) and were clapping, swaying  and joining in , we do sing a couple of well known songs straight.
We excelled in our last steampunk with going onto 4 parts Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone a capella , even within in the choir it felt so good to rapturous applause when we finished , then they wanted an encore so what would be more appropriate then our version of Jerusalem :-)
